Runny - hope your son is more comfortable today. Best wishes.
I know some people think you need to get them young but... today I saw a board advertising an Under 5's Christmas Shopping evening ....
I wonder if they take real or play money ? ...
Damp, grey and nearly dark - miserable old day. Really could do to give the lawn a final cut before I take the lawnmower in for servicing next week - significant saving if I deliver it before 30th Nov - but it's a wee bit soggy out there at the moment.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
Hello folks - back from visiting Ma - she is very happy (fluttering her eyelashes at the male carer who took her for a push around the town this morning). Talking complete bunkum - but very happy. A bag of fruit pastilles for her handbag made life even better
Wet and miserable here now 8.9C at the moment. The sun is low in the west and as supper is prepped I'm on the sofa with you lot, my knitting and Roger Federer (might as well try to pick up a few tips ).
I know I said I don't like the heat Hosta, but have you got room for a middle-sized one in your suitcase? Perhaps I could learn to like it
On the other hand, I've just noticed Hellebore orientalis Mrs Betty Ranicar has buds just beginning to burst open, and a Christmas Rose type hellebore in the front garden is in full bloom; Clematis cirrhosa 'Freckles' is covered with flowers as is Viburnum Bodnantense Charles Lamont. Just think of all the things I'd miss if I wasn't here in the winter
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

I can deal with biral epidemics Verdun.
ooh erh missus
safe trip home Steve.
Hi folks,
RB Hope your son is OK, you too. I don't know what happened as some of the posts seem to have disappeared from my computer.
Had a busy day yesterday out and about so didn't get time to look in on everyone. Weather here is foul today so wont be getting any gardening done.
Keep safe and warm everyone.
Thanks Hosta. Leaving in a few min.
Hope your son soon recovers RB, and best wishes to all other casualties and patients!
..........
Is a biral epidemice caused by a plague of biros?
Steve

Why not take it in and then give the lawn a cut after you get it back, on a fine December day? (he suggested, hopefully)
