Doctors, don't you hate the? Went to see them about tennis elbow, which is still not getting better.

    What things make it worse?

    Gardening.

    Don't garden then!

    Sorry, manners, good morning all.

Glad you are starting to feel better Pat.

punkdoc, I use a simple velcro stap and have done for years.( you can get them in sports shops) Keeps me pain free , although I do  take it off in summer otherwise I end up with a white band around my forearm.

Hi Pdoc. You sound your old self again.  My Doc thinks my various sick periods are caused by anxiety, not a bug!  Am on antidepressants. Not sure how I feel about that, but I'll give it a fair trial.image

  • Morning all , haven't read back but hoping that everyone is OK and that poorly forkers ared on the mend or snuggled up recuperating.

My long wk end has arrived , couldn't wait! Still feeling really awful ,think I have another bug added to the one I have already got ! The kids that I work with are full of colds and tummy upsets..so I suppose I should have seen this second hit coming. Voice was completely gone this morning but can croak abit now, but my head feels so stuffed up and when I turn my head it seems to take a while for my eyes to catch up.....very weird feeling indeed. Really hope it goes soon as we haven't been able to see my 90yr old dad for a week now , still phone him twice a day but he sounds a bit down and winter days aren't very cheerful when you can't get out and about.

Have a good day doing whatever your doing, at least the days are getting longer!

Pat apologies I wrongly referred to you as Dove, of course I meant Pat!!

Hosta, I am actually getting a bit fed up of having to fight for my rights and be Mr Nasty   Why can't people just do their job. I nearly had a heart attack when the girl in the power company said "have a nice day" as we hung up!

Punk D have you seen the age of the doctors nowadays ? I can't believe they qualified

off to make a cake for the birds, saw my first gold chaffie in the garden yesterday

  • Gardengirl - that sounds about right - mine's about 9" diameter - one of those cheap old fashioned white enamel ones with a blue edge.  image
