Sorry you're having such a rough time Yvie. You must feel like tearing your hair out. I hope your Mum hasn't broken anything and that you and your daughter get better soon. Your OH must be feeling anxious about the forthcoming op too. It really is a lot to cope with ((hugs)) for all of you.
Glad your cold frame arrived Jo, you'll not feel bored sorting that out. The birds in your garden are going to be the plummets around.
Lavendar hedge sounds lovely Verdun - well it certainly will when you get hundreds of bees enjoying it.
Hello folks Lovely day in London meeting friends, lunch out and lots of nattering etc. Train, tube and buses fine. Got back to Norwich which was gridlocked 'cos they've decided to dig three major routes up at once Cabs couldn't get to the station, cab drivers fuming - when I got home the meter in the cab said £15 but the cab driver would only let me pay £11 'cos that's what it would normally cost. We have nice cab drivers in Norwich
Yvie ((hugs)) so sorry to hear about your mum - speak to PALS (Patient Advice and Liaison Service) every hospital has one - they should support you in tackling this! Hope your eye, someone's arm and everything else is better soon ((hugs)).
BL - hope poorly horse is better soon.
Hello David K
Hello Verdun and Hosta and Jo ......... anyone I've missed???
Where's Panda? did I dream it or is she away?

Hello jo What a coincidence - we were talking about Kew today. On the train home I was wondering if we could arrange a Forkers visit there sometime. It does cost quite a lot to get to London from out in the sticks, but if you can book in advance it can be a bit less extortionate.
Maybe it's one to plan for next year?

Might manage a trip down to Kew given enough notice, cos Grand Central trains run from Halifax to King's Cross for only £8-something if you get the right one...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Always plenty of room, David k.
Indeed so Verdun.
I'm sure we've all said " Oh , I'll remember which is which when they die down"
TBH one hibernating hosta looks much like another.

Hi David
Lovely day thank you RB. Popped to shops, bumped into a friend and went for a coffee and lovely chat.
Hope your feeling better today RB.
Glad you had a lovely day in London Dove. How long did it take you to get to London?
I remember that RB, think it was a skipping rhyme
Got her a little cloth book that crackles, rattles and sqeaks. Wonder if it will drive mummy and daddy nuts lol.
Probably, SGL...
