    Good morning allimage

Just back from the dog walk and just managed to dodge the showers but it's really chilly.  Wrap up warm Fairy and enjoy your walk.  We used to live close to the Pentlands and there are some lovely walks and a nice pub where we'd have lunchimage

Glad the knee's feeling less painful today Hosta.

Liri, your day out sounded very enjoyable.  I can't imagine my OH doing that on his birthday, it would have to be on mineimage

Enjoy your day in the sun everyone who's lucky enough to have some and are not at workimage

Hi all, cloudy rather than sunny in Dorset today. Had a great day yesterday, building a raised bed from the large branches of my oak that had to have part cut down, The tree surgeon had to cut them small so that i could move then  but still could only roll some of them and then upend into the hole I had made. Anyway it look wonderful now it is completed and I am off to the garden center to get some shade loving plants to put in it to add to the ferns I already have.

Flotterstone is where I start from Lesley - so I presume you mean the Inn there. It's nice - been in with ex partner now and again - but I'll be taking lunch with me. image I'll do the 3 hills that include Scald Law and maybe the 2 kips further on as well. It's  a decent walk.

Off now - got my woolly simmit on...image

Flotterstone - what a lovely nameimage Enjoy your walk Fairy.

like Rob, i plan to spend the day getting seedlings out of trays and into pots, plus a bit of weeding here and there.  Forecast is for no rain, if not exactly a scorcherimage.

Hope knees and ribs keep on with their recovery.  Enjoy your gardens .....especially Yvie, after the mammoth Nanna dutiesimage

That's the oneimage.  Hope the weather brightens up for you.

I may do some potting up too chicky and rob, but it will probably be done in the kitchen.  I'll have to do a bit of preparation for tomorrow as there will be 10 of us for lunch.

    SYL.

Just come back from the doctor as I was coughing a lot in the night. I have bronchitis, 3rd time this year, with a torn muscle from coughing image Doc says all those years of living with 1st OH who was a very heavy smoker (died aged 53) have made my lungs fragile.

Daughter will arrive soon so must get on with lunch, there will be 8 of us and it's 10.30am (French time).

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
