Morning all. Pdoc if you catch up with your garden can you nip in and look at mine? I'm considering a few days off to catch up and rest... but you can guarantee with my luck it'll snow!

    Morning everybody.

Can anybody explain to me why some posts are removed for no apparent reason?
  • DovefromaboveDovefromabove Posts: 88,113

The Moderators remove posts if they breach the Terms + Conditions.code of conduct (link at the foot of the page) - a frequent breach is the attempt to advertise the poster's own business.

Gardener's World is a business dependent on advertising for it's income, so for a business to attempt to gain free advertising is unfair both on Gardener's World and advertisers who do pay for their advertising.

Of course, this doesn't prevent forum members from providing information about companies who have given good (or poor) service - as long as they have no personal or business link with them other than as a customer.

Sometimes a post is removed if it is believed to be inflammatory or breaches the code of conduct in another way.

If you're unclear you can contact the editor, Daniel Haynes, via a PM.
