Looked up that Liquid Amber, really thought you were talking about a make of bra! Looks gorgeous.

Isnt it then, maybe a beer from Australia? I thought it was an over shoulder boulder holder.

Edd they are plural because they used to be two separate pieces of material, only joined by a cord at the waist.

Sounds like we are in for some bad weather later in the week image just in time to cover my emerging snowdrops.

Food eaten and a rest I think, hard work this shopping lark.

I suppose liquid amber slender silhouette does sound rather good for a line of  lingerie perhaps I should patent it.

  • I guess you have heard about Eastern New York's coming snow storm,60 to 90 C and we don't have any snow at all but it is cold.

    Hi Bill,

I'm up in the bleak hours to get a hot drink and turned the tv on and there has just been a news item about how preparations are going for the snowstorm.  They are expecting major power outages and telling people to stock up.   I really hope that it is not going to be as bad as predicted.

Hope you and your wife can stay warm and cosyimage

Morning all. As you can tell, my body clock is not in the right place yet. I am also freezing, 10 days at 27 - 30 Centigrade means I cant cope with Sheffield in January.

Highlights of holiday were a walk in the rain forest being followed by Cobus monkeys, and our general daily routine, sit under Tamarind tree, on edge of beach, 10 yards from the sea, and wait for member of hotel staff to come and take our drinks order. They also had a curry night on Fridays!

I was very sorry to read your news Verdun, maybe a blessing in disguise though?

Hope the rest of you are well, and am looking forward to getting back into the banter, although not if it is going to be all about bras. My only interest in that subject over the years, was in how to remove them.

Hoping to get outside for few hours today, as I seem so behind with winter work in the garden this year. Did manage to sow some more sweet peas yesterday though.

    Have a good day everyone.

Great to have you back Punkdoc. Sounds like a amazing holiday.

Stay safe NY! I normally temper what I hear on the news since its always so highly dramatized, but in this instances, it appears to be correct.

Had to take Flynn out this morning and at 1.30am. He got a dry throat, which woke us all up including my husband who finds it difficult to sleep at the best of timesimage

No frost here, but sort of chilly

    Morningimage

Sounds like you had a great time Pdocimage.  Hope batteries are re-charged.

Off to Norfolk for a couple of days to take Chicklet to a Uni open day thingy. Staying with my uncle in Kings Lynn tonight so that we are within striking distance of Norwich in the morning.  With a bit of luck I will meet a little white bird of peace whilst I'm there image Cooooo Cooooooo (said in my best Vic Reeves voiceimage)

Hope everyone over there in the eastern US has their supplies in and their hatches battened!
