G.Morning everyone. Frosty here, but we are in a frost pocket anyway so that's not a surprise. Most of village is on hill above me and they very kindly let me have all their minuses.
Venice was wonderful. Everything was perfect.
Garden progress continues. Yesterday good neighbour removed an eleagnus that was growing over my fence into my garden with just the trunk in his. There is nothing of benefit under where it was so will clear it all out and start again with new shrubs. Gradually working round clearing, pruning back , moving around and replanting. Trying to maintain a balance between design and lower maintenance for the future.
It's OK KEF, calm down...Not long now til wine time...
PS it seems I told an untruth ... Just been for a garden wander and there is indeed some frost. Also found 4 little osteospermum flowers happily braving the cold, bless em don't they know it's not time yet, eager beavers.
I do 15 mins at the gym at a speed of 100rpm or near it and a level between 12 and 18 on a route that is supposed to take me up kilimanjaro . Essentially its 8 km up hill
Anyways, inside jobs today, more spring cleaning and visitors expected so cups of tea all round.
Just back from a walk into the village to do some banking and pick up some bits and pieces from Waitrose - I made the most of my Waitrose card and had a free coffee while I read the newspaper.
It's a lovely day out there - chilly at 2.4C but perfect for a brisk walk and lots of flowers appearing in the gardens - snowdrops, crocuses and an anemone de Caen and the birds definitely think Spring's coming - they're singing really loudly
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

How come boldly go sounds right but carefully go doesn't
