Hope everyone has come through the gales ok - i hate strong winds - very scary.  We missed them here this time.

nearly survived the first week back - one more day to go.  The holidays seem a distant memory alreadyimage.  But weekend forecast looks fine, so looking forward to getting outsideimage

Wakey wakey Lizzie! Can't have you in your night attire for the plumber!

Very windy here. Looks like Sunday will be spent clearing neighbours rubbish from my garden.

What a night, never known anything like it.

about 1.30 got up to walk around (inside!) realised something different but coukdnt pin point it as dark.

now we see. One of our beloved 150 year old beech trees down, thankfully across garden and not road but damage looks extensive.

dreading the dawn! Off for what may be the first if many coffees todayimage
