Flippin eck, it's cold out there, not planting rose today.  Just returned from my foray into town followed by a browse around Ashwoods Garden Centre.  During my visit got attacked by SPS (sticky plant syndrome) when I got home found I had  hebe 'Burning Heart' and Geum 'Fireball' in my possession.  I would take them back but I'm too cold to go out againimage

It was cold in here too - I've put the heating on!   Don't want my little tomato seedlings to get too cold on the dining room windowsill!

But apparently it's going to start getting warmer after the rain tonight and tomorrow - Tomasz Schafernaker just said so image

Yes, Dove we have heavy rain forecast overnight but only the odd light shower forecast for today.  Heating on here too, I bet Bekkie is back in her thermals.

Have had to come in as too cold, but feeling happy as I  have found my trilliums I thought had lost. image

Going to find a good old film and tackle the ironing!

    Afternoon image

Had a lovely time last night image Was pleased as sometimes when you look forward to something it can be a let down image There was copious amounts of alcohol drunk and, luckily no hangover for me image Not quite sure how that happened image but won't grumble image

Having spent the night on a proper memory foam mattress (I have a topper) I won't slash out on one when I need to replace the mattress - one of my worst nights sleep ever! Was way too sinky for me (or maybe I'm too robust??? image)

    Can feel a snooze coming on . . . . image

    Hello

No rain here, felt cold but once I started in Garden didn't feel too bad, everything is soo dry. I was hoping to have bedding/cutting plants out by now so OH can manage to look after them (may be wishful thinkingimage) but too cold for some of them still.

Did plant out some hardy ones and some leeks but that's all

Certainly didn't attempt to honour the Nude gardening day - brrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry to here some have self-inflicted poorliness, sure you be better soon, could always have the hair of the dogimage

Oh dear, DD, but I'm a bit surprised they expected you to wash the jodphurs. If you are riding in a 3 day event you bring more than 1 pair. I used to compete, wore light beige for show jumping and cross country and white or cream for dressage. Dressage is first, then cross country, then show jumping. So she could have worn pale pink for the cross country and the show jumping. I never spent that much on my jodphurs, but they have probably gone up in price since then.

Weather forecast said dry today, but cloudy. So as supermarket was shut yesterday (bank hol) we went this morning. Then the rain started image Wanted to do a lot in the veggie garden.

You know I said I wasn't going to plant that rose because of all the tree roots that needed digging upimage.  Well hubby decided it would be a quick job and we should just get on with it. Wish we had a smiley face thing for 'k*******d'.  Tree roots were about 5" across.

However, despite the rain, the cold and the tree roots said rose is now planted and she had better like her new bed or elseimage.

Well I'm definitely not cold anymore, plan to do absolutely nothing for the rest of the day.
