Done the deed, they were ok, but didn't make me feel better by saying they were brand new, only worn for the first time yesterday and the competition rules say thay can only wear white so they will have to borrow some for today. Oh and that they cost €90.image

I was doing so well, they were calling me superwoman yesterday because I managed to cook a meal for them all at short notice. So embarrassed by my own stupidity. image

Did get lots of nice plants yesterday afternoon though. image

It's a very very long time since I've been out and not had to drive back, so I'm obviously out of practice image

Sorry to hear about the pink jods - what a PITA - get some Dylon Dye Remover to keep in the cupboard for the future, just in case image

The lady said she will dye them navy, explained that the elasticine means they can't be bleached back white again. I will never make the same mistake again, will probably never offer to wash anyone's clothes ever again. Still kicking myself. image

Off to Pompadour as soon as my next lot of guests get out bed and have breakfast, there is a Fetes des Plantes there today, hoping to find some more alpines. Got all my veggie plug plants yesterday and a couple of small phlox for rockery too. image

Good morning forkers,  lovely morning but chilly.  Rain due this afternoon so need to get weeding finished off, grass cut and oversee the removal of the tree stump that is to be dug out today

DD I have made laundry blunders a few times so, like Dove! I always have a rescue kit.  How is Shadow today, it's a week now isn't it?

Dove, nothing like fresh air to clear the head!

    have a good day everyone

    Morning all.

    Grey and cold here.

OH gone for run, so I am drinking coffee and stuffing my face with crumpet [ although I call them pikelets ]

Off to wander round and make another list, that won't be completed.

Dinner out tonight at 1 of Sheffield's offal and odd cuts restaurants. Just had a horrible feeling that 1 of our friends is a bit squeamish about such things!

Have a lovely day, whatever you are doing.
