    4pm thunder turned into one rumble and lashing it down rain, road flooded, road drains flooded and my front garden is a pond image Glad I watered my runners earlier image

    We're somewhere in the middle - cloudy and humid. I think rain's coming this evening though. I've had a very lazy day. image

    Same here KEF, the noise in the house is amazing. This is like rain in the tropics.

    Thanks by the way and can I say you are lovely too. It was the gold hot pants that did it for me.

    The sprinkler has been on the PSB and runner beans, and I've given the courgettes a soaking.  The frogs are basking in the sun in the pond, just sticking their heads above water, and the air here is full of the sound of lawn mowing, children squealing in paddling pools and the smell of paraffin BBQ lighters and someone, somewhere has steaks on their BBQ - I can smell them too...........

    We're having baked herby chicken joints with runners and couscous and we're eating on the terrace at 7pm

    Sorry folks, but I did warn you it was going to be wet everywhere but here ... you were invited to join us image

    Phewwww, been shorchio all day here and still very hot.......sorry Kef and Pdocimage

    We're having chicken in a roast pepper and cream sauce tonightimage .......might have drinks outside afterwards image
