Morning folks, Congratulations Grandad Alan. Grandad Matty glad to see that your grandson is home and well. Woke up early this morning even though I didn't need to, which is annoying as I had promised myself a long lie in.
Hope everyone has a good day, off for a quick look round.
Busy day yesterday with my new friends coming, h*******k, baking and trying to make the garden look respectable - OH said they are not the hotel inspectors, but it needed a good clean up after Xmas and need to be busy to stop fretting over Charlie.
Had a few messages (they have set up a blog thingy) and seen some pics, the snow looks good and they built an amazing igloo. Seems to be a very successful school trip so far.
Matty & Alan great news about the grandchildren, new babies are so exciting.
Verdun, glad your mum is feeling a bit better, good news. Now you know she likes the actimel you can go & haggle for bulk buying.
Last year I decided Dahlias were my new favourite flower (after Lillies of course), so many varieties, so much colour, I will definitely be getting some more this year. Just have to get them past OH who says my garden budget for the year has already been spent.
Doing a few hours in the shop today, first visit, hope it will be ok & then have guests arriving at 5:00pm wanting dinner at 7:30pm. Will at least keep my mind occupies and off Charlie (strange hollow feeling in my tummy).
Hope the weather is kind to you all & for the workers it really is nearly Friday! Have a good day whatever you are all doing.

Morning Verdun, Agree about the Paris incident. Has anyone heard from RB since she last posted. Have visions of her locked in the boot of a car and having to type with her hands tied behind her back. Or maybe she just hit the bottle a little early today.
No good doing that Verdun, that is what they want.
We had a lovely job first thing this morning, foxy had ripped all the rubbish bags open, and I do mean all! They hadnt collected since before Chrismas so you can imagine how much there was, it was spread for about a quarter of a mile,
Completely our fault for not bringing it in last night, we knew the bin men hadnt been!!
Morrisons today, yuk, hate that job.
Have a good day everyone, hope the new babies are fine today.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Not sure SG it's just that we haven't heard from her since and either she's decided to write in code or perhaps she's just trying to learn to touchtype.
Morning all, another grey and gloomy day, must do my SAD lamp, as this weather is certainly bad for me.
Congratulations to the new grandfathers. Not having any children, it seems unlikely I will ever experience that joy.
Whilst I agree with you Verdun, where do you draw the line? Were the ANC terrorists under apartheid South Africa? " One mans terrorist is another mans freedom fighter "
