Stacey - what a gorgeous pony - what was her name?? We have never made it anywhere near Olympia (other than as spectators) - probably just as well - my heart is in my mouth even at local shows. Mostly i can't look
Her name was brisk she was a new forest pony and it broke my heart when we had to get rid of her but she was vicious to everyone except me!!! On the upside my family was v v good friends with the local vet who got us a pony called trixie who was taken away from her owners as the mistreated her she was fab fab fab but lol never made a show horse lmao... She would stop to eat straw bale jumps lmao.... Ahhhhh fab memories
Beautiful day here, have swept up and bagged piles of leaves, remembered to jump on the crunchy ones first...
House across the road has just switched on their Christmas lights, consternation from their two small girls earlier that the "Santa Stop Here " signs were hidden under a tree and would not be seen from the sleigh, I think they now are convinced that Santa will be calling in the next couple of days...
I am sure that soon the shops and some people won't bother to switch off their lights, remove decorations and stop playing Christmas music as Christmas will extend from August until February/March
Chapatis & chilli garlic naans. Sorry no dessert, if anyone can bring some it might need to be a chilled one as quite a lot of chillis in the above. I hope Verdun has some fresh parsley for us to chew as it's also heavy on the garlic.
We also needed scented tealights ( not candles H & S ) otherwise cabin will pong of curry tomorrow.
Crickey nearly forgot, hope the beer fridge is well stocked. Who is the beer monitor?
Gilly the people down the road have had theirs up for 2 weeks now!!! Mine go up 12 th this year although as we do have a lot we may start with a few bits and bobs soon.... I have got lo an inflatable and lit Snowman this year which flies against everything I go for but she loved it soooo much ( push over me nah!!)

Good tip - never buy a pony called Scamp - there is a reason he has that name
