  • Happy Boxing Day everyone!

Feel a snooze coming on - am stuffed with leftovers, xmas pud etc.  image

Rosemummy, we haven't seen a mouse here since we got our cats.  They don't catch anything, but spend a long time prowling about the cupboards and corners...  I guess the smell of cat (imperceptible to humans) must scare the mice away.  Personally, I can't bear trapping & killing mice etc.  Humane traps work, but you have to release the mice far enough from home for them not to bother to return.

Hello all, think I've got a tiny moment to pop in. 10 adults, 6 children and 2 babies here, been pretty hectic and very noisy. Dishwasher seems to be on 3 - 4 times a day. Don't think I've ever seen so many presents under a tree. Children were very excited. Went for a walk with eldest daughter and 2 small grandsons on bikes this afternoon.

Hope you've all had a good time. Why does Verdun want to be sick in a bowl and put brandy cream on it?!image

Hope everyone had a good day yesterday, We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with Firstborn and our two Grandaughters.  Eldest was quite poorly with a heavy cold such a shame.  Still, she did manage to get out on her new bike (pink with gears as she would say).  Getting to be a real Victoria Pendleton, only six and finding the gears no problem.  Little one had lots of Pepper Pig presents so she was very happy. Had a lovely lunch, turkey was purfect.

Back home now, relaxing in front of the fire, eating too many chocs.  Had some lovely pressies including Gardening Vouchers and a new Moleskine Gardening Journal.

Hope everyone is safe and warm tonight.
