Lots to do today, Farm Shop, Christmas cards, tidying, sorting and making lists. I also need to find some boxes to put books and stuff in as when we come back after Christmas the whole of the downstairs, plus hall, landing and bathroom are going to be redecorated!!!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all. Sorry to hear your news Yvie. A big hug to you and your family.
Chilly and some very black clouds overhead so perhaps more snowy showers today. I think I may be doing indoor stuff and just taking it easy today. I get very bored as soon as Christmas day is over so if the weather isn't great I'll get on with decorating jobs too. Would you like a hand Dove? I'll get my pasting table out of the shed
Have a nice day out lily
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning all, thoughts to you and your mum Yvie. Glad the reunion went well Dove.
Frosty here this morning, had to melt the ice on the pond for the birds to have a drink. Going to make the most of it and move the cultivator up to the back of the garden. Been far too muddy to even try, but with the frost the ground is hard so should be easier.
I've got decorating planned too, do Christmas, get my hedge in then decorating for the coldest bit of the year. Had my fill of decorating at this house really, but would rather do it and get it out of the way so I can spend the warmer months outside.
Morning all - mega frost here - trees and everything. It all looks soooo pretty
Got a trip to town planned for hopefully my last Christmas bits. A chicklet is coming with me for part one, and then is being banished home early so I can get on in peace for part two.
But first, a cuppa, and some more gazing into winterwonderland - we don't get hoar frosts often
Going to a Christmas Fair tomorrow, hope to get a couple more stocking presents. In aid of a charity that looks after retired English police horses here in France.
Just celebrating that all the main presents are now bought and I only have to find a few stocking fillers and do food shopping. Oh and hiring a carpet cleaner and cleaning the windows and putting up the decorations.
Hope you're lucky as well this afternoon chicky
Fairy about your car. I'm sure Edd would be able to suggest some inexpensive presents for the girls Is a worm farm on their list?

Cold and frosty here too. And a bit foggy
Off to meet a couple of friends today. Will pop in early and go to a couple of shops then chat and lunch.
Hope everyone has a good day, take care and keep warm.
TTFN x
