Had a fab day, managed to get 4 more trees out before the blade broke on my jigsaw...yes it was being abused! absolutely whacked now, just hoping OH dosent notice or i will be for it!
Thank you everyone, we are so very excited. Did have to stop myself buying bits today, will wait to see if a blue or a pink one. Think I know what you mean Yvie.....and its not even born yet !!
I have an area - paved, walls on 3 sides and keep attempting to call it the courtyard, but always ends up as the patio. As patio is not British may help me to rememebr it is a courtyard
Planted out my sweet peas YAY
And sticky labels have spread their way to Waitrose - Primula denticulata stuck to my fingers, a white one, I tried to buy one last year but couldn't.
Glorious day here, hope temps don't drop too low overnight
Congrats to SGL !! I'm sure you will make the best nanna ever
Thanks for the pergola thumbs up guys, I'm not a nanna yet and think I have a few years yet to wait but three strapping sons come in handy
bekkie, how many trees have you got for the chop girl? That conifer hedge must have been extensive
Yvie, patience? Are you really going to throw out the Wisteria? It's a costly plant to begin with and so darn beautiful when it does flower...maybe one more year?
Winter, the people who lived here before must have brought a job lot! Just 1 small and 3 big ones to go now, they were on two sides of the front garden...already took 25 out when we moved in! Have to say your garden looks beautiful
Himself has walked past the front garden and didnt notice, lets just hope he dosent see the bruises!
view of the other side, small rubbish heap and messy paving slabs that need relaying but at least the sun is going down enough to see through my camera lens
I'll shut up posting now or bore you all to death. The men spent time debating every angle and how true the thing is but to be honest, I could not have asked for more given none of them do this sort of thing for a living. a few climbers and shrubby stuff with mask any millimetres off and I'll happily live with its organic beauty.
