Have a lovely day tomorrow Rb. Mum was just reminiscing today about the lovely times they had when they had day trips to Llandudno. Remember to bring us back a stick of rock
I used to go to Llandudno on the boat from Liverpool (where my grandparents lived) as a treat every summer. i remember cable cars and writing my name in white rocks on the side of the Great Orm. Have a check if its still there will you Runny
Fingers crossed for Mr Yvie, really hope it all goes well.
glad painting is progressing (although I think I'd rather be at my saltmine). Bike ride sounds great fun - you'll sleep well tonight. I love a good long cycle ride, especially with a pub in the middle ......must persuade Mr Chicky to get out there with me soon.
Welcome back Yvie, glad your holiday was lovely, sorry to hear about OH eye, hope the operation improves things!
Wow and well done on the decorating Jo! Really filling that week off aren't you! Don't forget to rest or you will need another week!
Topbird, thats a long cycle ride in my book! My best mate is currently cycling round the world and has made it to India, but my bike hasn't made it out the shed in 12 years! Glad you enjoyed Laxfield, its where I grew up! Still have a dolls house of our first home made by the quirky local toymaker. Also got married in the church three years ago actually got nostalgic and hungry at the roast beef sanrnie description! glad you enjoyed the day!
Good morning Verdun Hope you and Spike have a lovely walk
Mild and a bit drizzly here, but not enough to do any good. I'm glad I gave everything a good soaking yesterday.
Yvie, horrid about OH's eye - fingers very crossed that they can sort it
The plan for a bit later this morning is to get some petrol then visit Ma - hopefully the petrol station will have a magazine that will hold Ma's interest for a little while. I used to wonder who bought all the magazines with pics of the royals in them ....... now I know ...... it's those who have mothers with Alzheimer's.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
