Dove I was waiting for you to arrive. How did you get on with the car yesterday? Is it all fixed, now?

Hi Pat - not fixed yet - it is now at the specialist Renault place and they will use their computers to investigate exactly where the fault is - then it will probably have to go back to the cheaper garage for the repairs (unless it's an easy fix which Renault can do cheaply).

I've loved having the car, it's a convertible and I've had it for a while now, but it's getting on a bit and beginning to have a few problems - I'm thinking that when the spring comes it may be as well to sell it to someone who wants to have bit of fun in the sun on the cheap and get myself something less fun but more reliable.  image

Yes always a problem,  My little Mazda is a 1993 model and Hubby has suggested several times that we should replace it, but I know where to put my hands and feet without having to think about it. And besides, I only use it once a fortnight to go to town, so it's fine. Still working well. No electronics to go wrong, manual gears, key locks on doors and wind down windows. Suits me fine.  Besides, who knows how long I'll be allowed to drive. As it is, I need a Dr to sign a form every year to say I'm capable of driving. image

  • Good morning all. Lovely morning again although we had a very big storm yesterday evening, torrential rain and thunder and lightening for at least 3 hours. You would never know this morning except for the leaves everywhere. image

Guests stayed last night and Charlie has been chatting with them over breakfast for about an hour, I am sure he is doing what all children do and being 'too truthful', I overheard him explaining about grumpy Daddy and our sleeping arrangements and made a sharp exit, too embarrassing to listen to and my glares went unnoticed. image

    Morning all!

Yes Pat he curls up on my lap: he just about fits though normally decides he *has* to sit between us and nothing will stop his efforts! Right now he's making most of laying on the bed. (It'd be very cute but he's snoring like a diesel generator).

Well I've had my four days off so if I'm not better now I'll never be (you know, ignoring the roll call of chronic conditions that make themselves home in my broken bits). Time to go and see what chaos has been caused in my absence. Or whether any of the issues have been addressed image place your bets!
