Well there you are Chicky and Verdun.

Pat, do you always go into latest posts on your iPad, I think maybe you switch it off and when you come back to it it doesn't move, you have to start again and refresh every time.

Punkdoc, Couldn't you and Mrs P move down here, no neighbours troubles everyone is much more laid back.imageimageimage

Morning all, dull and grey but not raining.

The bush fires sound terrifying. I have a very good friend whose daughters live in Perth. I think that's not that far from Waroona where the fires are. My friend has gone off with her husband in their camping car to Italy.

Doubt I'll be gardening today. Still haven't taken down the Christmas decorations.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all.

I'm typing with one finger whilst on hold for the third time this morning to the travellers' health check folk, trying to update our details for the coming year's travel insurance.  Each time they've put me on hold for around 20 mins (and the plinky-plonk guitar music is driving me NUTS!).  The first time I got through to a wman, eventually, who asked me 3 questions before the line went dead.  2nd time I was put through to a noisy room, but nobody answered me and then the line went dead.  Third time lucky???  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Lyn, thanks - have been watching TV and only now got back on.  Ill check what you suggested later. I don't think I'm doing anything different from usual.

Buzy, the fires aren't close to Perth.  They are further south. Don't worry.
