    DD great news.

Lily hugs just seen your post on another thread.

Made my shopping list and as usual had a look online at SM offers. Not on offer and not that I'd buy from SM if I wanted some but does anyone want me to get them some Traditional Dry Aged Beef fillet steak 36.19 per kilo image

  • Thanks KEF but we have great local meat in our village shop. Some of it is rare breed from a mile away.

Off into garden for a good hacking workout.image

Still having a good time. yesterday we got a blue ringed octopus. deadly bite, but ots only 2 inch across. I will put a couple of photos on photo thread.

Sounds as if its been windy. I hope the housesitter put extra bricks around the polytunnel as instructed. His only email was to request the password for the virgin tv box.image

I think I'd pay anything for a decent fillet steak at the mo. All the emergency chocolate has gone, I have fantasies about good english food. We will be home at the weekend, only five more dives left .

    Have a good day everyone.

    Good day

Wrote along post and it just disappeared

Can't remember what I wrote either

Garden survived the storm, after last year when so many of my pots were damaged I think I have mastered the knack of storm proofing.

Daughter and P have put in an offer on house we all went to see yesterday - just right for  them and quirky, just suit my daughter, waiting to hear with fingers and toes crossed

    DD pleased all OK

Lizzie - you seem to be having a very busy time again  - not overstretching yourself are you

Hoping to go to large GC (a real treat this afternoon) Hope OH is feeling wealthyimage

Hi folks, fully refreshed after a good nights sleep and another deep tissue massage.  Popped in garden centre on the way back didn't buy anything, but I did have a wonderful fruit, honey and walnut scone with jam and cream. image Naughty but nice as they say.

Glad to hear your son is OK DD it must be a real relief.

Lesley, I bought one of those kercher window cleaner things and the best thing about it is the way it sucks all the condensation off your windows and stores it in a reservoir.  It means no runny water on the window ledges and no streaky windows.  It is good when you clean them too.

No one on the forum seems to have suffered too much in the storms, lucky us.

Fidget sounds like you are having a great time.  Just remember how much you will miss all that lovely fruit and fresh seafood etc when you are home and eating chocolate.

Had a delivery yesterday from Plants for Shade, a great company, very efficient and good plants reasonably prices.  They also have a low delivery cost.  Have ordered from them before and had no problems but this time the delivery guy left plants in the woodstore and didnt put a card throught the door.  When I  got back yesterday I say an email from them and went out in the pitch dark to check the shed and the box had been wedged in and fell out when I opened the door.  Not too much damage done luckily some of the soil had fell out.  But the main problem was so had the labels.  I could identify two of the plants easily but the other two were both epimediums and I cant tell which is which.  They are for specific spots in the garden (one is orange and the other pink) so I dont want to mix them up.  I have emailed them but I dont know if anyone on here can tell the difference between Warleysense and rubrum AGM.  One of the plants is strong looking with sturdy stems and leaves while the other is much daintier with delicate stems and smaller leaves.
