No idea what I will be growing up the pergola just yet, think OH was feeling a tad guilty when he ordered it because it wasn't that far up my priority list. Not that I'm not grateful, but I was still debating getting one this year at all because of that problem of needing seating and climbers to go with it and I want other things done first. Ho hum
So now I sound ungrateful which I'm not, just pragmatic
So, new to do list includes need to re-dig two existing holes OH did last year and dig the opposite pair before it arrives next week, then there's the stress of building it without stepping on my fresh spring borders
There will be tears before bedtime, hopefully tears of joy
Not sure if this is a gardening trend, I visited Bridgemere Garden World today and spotted these animals for sale. Didn't look at all the prices, but for an example the sheep were something over £200.
I've seen them in our "wyvale" too David Didn't look at the price but they are clearly for the person that wants a small holding without the effort of looking after real animals!!!!

Glad Pa is OK Dove. Your parents sound so sweet and loving.
Wintersong, your pergola is fabulous, I want one.
I've been outside most of the day, starting with hanging up the washing. Lots of seedlings in the GH. It was 18° in the shade outside.
I hope you have lots of lovely cuddles at the weekend, Matty.
