Evening all, back from Nanna duty, busy day, this morning was sports day so I was cheering on eldest grandaughter whilst trying to keep the youngest from running onto the field and joining in.
Sorry to hear about you car troubles BL, hope you get things sorted.
Glad you managed to get things moving for your cousing Verdun, sometimes you have to stamp your feet about to get people to listen.
Wonder what Chicky is up to, perhaps she's going to join the Gardener's World team on TV.
Although it's been dry in Worcester (apart from a little shower) there have been quite a few heavy downpours here at home so lawns haven't been mown. Tomorrow will be my only gardening day this weeek so hopefully I can get quite a bit done.
Off to see Bette Midler on Thursday night with Firstborn (our Christmas present from our Hubbys) can't wait.
and I really really can't stop what comes out my mouth when I'm trying to lift 60ks
I've had people rush to help me or ask if I'm in pain which I am of course, that's kind of the point, but technically it's the expulsion of air past the vocal cords whilst under... oh bugger it, there's no excuse
Runny, my dad was telling me they were thinking of increasing the women's matches to 5 sets ..... just think of all that grunting It's my least fav thing about the women's tennis Surely they must get sore throats......

Why do the women tennis players grunt so much?
If we had done it at school, we would have been told off for not being ladylike.
fidgetbones. I couldn't agree more.
Why can't they define it as unsportly , like "tennis abuse" etc. If they lose points they'd soon stop.
