Glad you got home OK Clari - it was horrible when I went out earlier but has calmed down a bit now.

Good luck to your daughter with the house Mattyimage.  DD - it would have taken longer to rake up the leaves if you'd left them to do altogether - I do sympathise though.  It feels an endless task at this time of year.

OH home but back out again Beaus.  I had a nice rest this afternoonimage

Shame you were feeling ill when it was your birthday Fairyimage. Happy belated birthdayimageimage

Sounds nice KEF. Do you have any left overs? His Lordship has decided he doesn't want dinner (I've been - once again - spending all evening on the new education programme and not realised the time) so plans have changed somewhat but truth be told I can't be bothered!

Gotten round to ordering my garlic bulbs (from Crocus) and somehow some deep purple tulips managed to slip into my basket. I thought that only happened at garden centres! image I'm hoping I can sneak them in for some early colour amongst the lavender bushes or perhaps in a pretty pot to sit where ever the BBQ area is going!

    Hi All,

Back from Nanna Duty, shattered but glad to be home.  It's still really blustery now, got home in the dark so haven't had chance to see if there is any damage.

Happy Birthday to those I've missed.

Hope poorly peeps and pouches feeling better.

Glad no ones suffered any damage (so far) from the weather.

Hope things improve tomorrow as I've a few things I want to do in the garden.

    Hello all

Been to the container talk got a few tips

Here is my first plant pot,  I mixed the tulips in this pot - fern red beauty - viola sorbet lemon ice blotch -  free moss - this pot is my classic pot - going in an ish shady spot

    image

Here is pot no2 this one I decided to go with blocks of tulips orange one side and purple the other

Bekkie I have used your idea so thank you, I have orange plant on top of the purple bulbs and near purple plant on top orange bulbs, I went mad with bright coloured heather and have an alpine in the middle - this is my funky bright pot - going outside my greenhouse till that goes down

    image

Here is the hanging baskets for the station we picked out the plants and mum got to play plant up with the plants

    image

Last pic both plant pots ready to go to there new home and to pay for the plants first

I ended up buying allium bulbs atropurpureum as they were 25% off and not grown them before - so that was 30 bulbs planted and 10 brought so still lots to plant for me

Was a windy ish day but sunny so a little cold when doing the containers even under the tent green house

Mrs Garden I think I have your thing spotted a nice autumn colour tree -so like it

busy busy week. Mostly in meetings so finger can cope n I can get paid!

GP only had appts when I am working, suggested walk in centre. Walk in centre had a long wait, sorry but im too busy. Have doc appt anyway next tues so will wait til then. Its inconvenient but no longer overly painful and not dropping me getting through the day ( albeit in an unusual fashion) so will soldier on ( doubt they'd 'do' anything , just felt i should get it checked oh).

Hope the storm is kind to you all.

Happy birthday fairy (my GH was one year old last sat!)image
