    Morning all,

Still in bed watching the cricketimage

Feels like a shopping day today or pottering, no hard graft since I still hurt from yesterday's lugging.

    Going to get up to 11 degrees today they reckon image S. P. R. I. N. G!!

Morning all. Foggy again, but usually means sunny later. Pruning, pruning and pruning! How did that buddleia get so huge when I cut it to knee height last year?? etc.image

  • Beautiful sunny morning already been in the garden, just in for a cup of tea and a bacon butty, take wife to yoga then home and back in the garden.

Good morning all - please accept commiserations, condolences and congratulations as appropriate.

Very disturbed night here - Pa poorly and I asked to be kept informed - last phone call around 2.45am - he'd settled and was feeling easier.  Then I had weird dreams.  Builders here at 8 decorating kitchen!!!  I'm going to leave them to it and visit the Aged Ps in a bit - don't want to get there too early as I want Pa to get plenty of rest after last night.

Looks like a beautiful morning out there, haven't been outside yet though.  Will just potter in the garden today, nothing too strenuous feeling a bit flat and tired today, no idea why.  Hope everyone enjoys the weather, have a good day whatevery you are up to.

Chin up Panda.  They don't know what they're missing yetimage. Enjoy the sunshineimage

Sorry to hear about Pa, Dove.  Hope you find him comfortable and settled.

Funny how things grow that fast Lizzie but it's good to get on top of the job now.  My buddleia blew over the other day and more than half the roots are in the air.

Vyie - we all get days like yours. Hope something happens to buck you up.  I've been lucky today as when I parked to nip in to pick up a watch someone ran after me and gave their parking ticketimage.  Then I went to Morrisons and got a voucher for a free bunch of tulips.  OK it was a small bunch but it cheered me up.  Doesn't take much, but how nice.

Rb we were obviously on the same wavelength yesterday as I had ice-cream before you mentioned it.  Pizza was good too.  Tonight it's homemade turkey burgers from the Hairy Bikers book.

Hope to get out later between the showers.

    Hiya

Have cut back verbena bonariensis, one doesn't look very happy. Hoped for some babies but couldn't see any, maybe too early.

Later I'm going to make a start on taming the lavender, hope it's not too late, then if i have the energy sow some beetroot seeds in GH

All to be done in half hour blocks

My GD and new GS are coming this weekend. He was born 6 weeks early just before Christmas and this will be his first long journey. I haven't really met him except I was allowed to touch his little head when he was in special care. As I was between ops when he arrived this is the first time we will see him - I still cannot travel long distances - getting very excited image
