Great stile Archieimage.  Bekkie - looking on the web will give the phone number of your nearest hedgehog rescue centre - with winter fast approaching I would call in the experts.  imageOuch MrsG - hope its getting less painfulimage

Back from a wonderful weekend away - Beth Chattos and Hyde Hall were lovely - even at this time of year.  Will post pics on gardens visited later in the week.  Then this morning we had a lovely walk along an Estuary - blowy but sunny.  Great meals out Friday and Saturday .... this turning 50 thing might not be so bad after allimage.  Chicklets back at school tomorrow, but OH and I have 2 more days off - all day bike ride planned tomorrow, and Tower of London (inspired by Lily's pictures) for poppies on Tuesday.  Need to do something to work off all those calories image

Evening all. Off to the fridge to get Claris remedy (is it ok to substitute the coder with white wine?). Tried driving earlier and that wasn't so good, handbreaks need left hand middle fingers believe it or not. Work should be interesting! Have now removed nail varnish - which was undamaged!!! Only to find I have an integral interesting purple varnish. Goes through stages when I can and can't bend it. No thanks to taping it to another finger - then id have two out of action - ill stick to Claris idea. image

Ouch Mrs. G, hope it's not broken.

Looking forward to your photos Chicky. We are hoping to go to Hyde Hall and Beth Chatto next July.

We went to friend's leaving France lunch party. Enjoyed it but will miss her. She's 83 but very lively. Going to live near daughter in UK.

When we came home I trimmed lavender hedge, bit late I know, but it was 23° today, lavender will think it's still summer!

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
