  • Misty rain here, very grey and 9 but hope that will change as the tide pulls out, will still get in the garden

Verdun - I haven't watched / recorded Poldark either. Mind you I am normally late to the party*

(*Aside from a friends 18th birthday party on Saturday: but that was only because I was driving the FIRE ENGINE and had to be early as they're not exactly easy to parallel park so wanted to bag the best space! Sorry anyone in Sheffield if it was your house we parked outside or indeed delayed on your journey when we had to perform a U turn in the road when we got lost!)

Waiting for the school rush to finish before I go and get some essential shopping. I need to blitz the house today so probably shouldn't be in my pjs still! Reggie is having his adoption assessment today: to check that we're looking after him and he's settling in nicely. The woman coming is the lady who went to his rescue when he was sat at the vets waiting to be put down so its going to be interesting to see her reaction at how he's changed over the past few months and see if she can fill in any details of his history. Not that he has much of a history as:

Two months: earliest he could leave his mother

Six months: rescued by German Shepherd Rescue

    Eight months: we adopted him

Nine months: currently snoring away on the sofa!

    Morning all. Foggy.

Recorded Poldark, and Indian Summers watched Mr. Selfridge.

Not sure yet what I'm doing today.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Morning!  Frost thawing quickly in sunshine.  image

Got to learn some French this morning, for this afternoon's U3A conversation class.  But maybe some gardening later...

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

The rain/sleet is now hammering the window so I've planted a few more seeds indoors and written a list of heights and planting distances to save time when eventually planting out.

Have a lovely time with your family LilyPimage

Reggie has certainly landed on his feet with you Clariimage.

I hadn't intended watching Poldark but I was too tired to move to bed or get up to reach the remote so left it on and really enjoyed it.  Verdun you were really goodimage.

Rain hammering down here too.  image

Hope the three Lily Pilly generations have a lovely time together!

It sounds as if Reggie knows when he's on to a good thing, Clari.  I'm sure you and he will pass inspection with flying colours!  image

Can you tell I can't bring myself to get down to my French homework?  image
