  • Morning all, bit wet here so far but not complaining, good for the garden, divided and planted yesterday so can only help. Got a list of jobs to do today but there is also a fête on locally I quite fancied, local produce and plants, decisions, decisions. image

Stacey I wish you all the luck in the world with your illness, you certainly sound like you have a very positive attitude, admirable.

BL we haven’t caught up with Strictly yet, OH got man flu – slept all yesterday. Grass is in desperate need of cutting but looks like it will have to wait, I am determined not to do it or it will then become my responsibility – it is the only thing in the garden he does. image

KEF hope you had a good holiday, sounds like time to get back to work now though. image

Must crack on, if I whizz through jobs this morning might get to the fête this afternoon.

Have a good day everyone. image

Morning all. So sorry to hear that Stacey. Hope your strong  fighting spirit and determination see you through this. Meanwhile, as Dove says, we'll be here to offer some support.

Hope you've had a lovely holiday KEF. Chilly here too but I'm refusing to succumb to the heating apart from the odd half hour  image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Hi Stacey - nice to see you back - looking forward to some more chilli recipes from you (your chilli sauce was ace!). Enjoy the autumn & winter in a comfy chair by the fire planning the garden for next year.

    Welcome home KEF.

Cold but very sunny here so I think a quick whizz round with the vac, peel spuds for dinner, & then it might have warmed up a tad so I can go out and plant some bulbs & clear a couple of veggie beds. Spent last couple of days planting & dividing so really pleased we had a bit of a deluge yesterday - everything nicely watered in for me image

Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Aww Stacey that's somewhat pants!! Hoping treatment isn't too draining on you and you're ready to take on the chillies come Christmas!

It was 3'C last night when I finished work at 03:00. Best start looking at moving the delicates inside and my mini orange trees away from the bedroom window that *has* to be open regardless of the weather.

I have today AND tomorrow off and I'll let you all into a secret - I don't intend on spending them working for a change!
