Wow, BM, that's a lot of viewings. Are you in a popular part of the country? But I can never remember where people live, except Dove (because of childhood memories) oh and Verdun of course and DD.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Dove, quite fancy growing Tricyrtis Formosana after seeing it on GW last night. If you see a 'Dark Beauty' on your travels you could pick one up for me.

Apricot is a very pretty name BL but its a bit of a mouthful, maybe you should call her Jam for short.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • Dove could you get me something for back ache please, walking around like a 90yr old at the mo.

Lily, I'd recommend some of Pdoc's Patent Cure-all image, a hot bath and a sit down on the sofa in front of a good film.

    Hope it works ((hugs))

Cat food and compost delivered image  Didn't see any Dark Beauties on my travels (well not that sort anyway) but they had some gorgeous Toad Lilies at West Acre the other week - maybe Nut can pop over and grab you one.  image

If anyone's in Norfolk and needs a tree or two I'd pop into Notcutts in Norwich if I were you - several Malus Golden Hornets and other crab apples, well grown about 7ft tall, various fruit trees, including Egremont Russet and Doyenne du Comice and various ornamentals including Cercis canadensis - all Half Price!!! in the Bargain Section at the back.

  • Thanks Dove, had the hot bath......so I'll just find a good film to watch and laze on sofa.

Hope wrist is fully healed now. Hugs for you too.

Think Pdoc also recommends a glass of red lily!

Think norfolks a bit far for my ever complicated tree hunt dove!

At least the rains stopped for a while so may get out there after all.

    Good day

Haven't been here for a while as not been too good, and flashing of lap top screen made things worse, very bad pain in the head

Not too bad today as yet, but have just had to take a pill. Trying not to though so I can have a glass of wine with a special dinner tonight.

Rained today - at last - may even manage the bending to plant some bulbs later, and maybe start the big GH clear out

Hope all are OK - trying not to read too much so not going to catch up

    Back later (hopefully)

    Afternoon all image

Quick sneaky check in from the sleepover. Sshh, don't tell anyone image

So, had to get up for the sleepover, and glad I did as the plumber couldn't find the leak and proudly announced we didn't have one. Then I asked him to take some tiles off and there it was! Wish I was getting paid £195 for doing his job for him image

Sorry you're poorly Matty - do you get headaches when weather fronts come over giving a big change in air pressure - I don't often get headaches but I know that some people seem to notice a connection.  Hope it's soon better.

Rain seems to have petered out for now - but the skies look ominous.  As the weather's definitely on the turn I've picked off all the unripe figs - over 20 of them - it's a shame but they're not going to ripen now image
