  • Good morning all image  Forum may have been quiet Yvie, but I got a lot of knitting done and answered several questions on University Challenge and Only Connect image  Then spent the night coughing image

Son is coming for supper this evening so I'll make a cottage pie and a plum tarte tatin this morning - both will be fine to heat through later so by the time I'm feeling kn*ckered I can sit on the sofa.

Yvie, what's on tv at 4am?  If I'd known there was anything good on I'd have watched it with you rather than staying upstairs coughing and listening to World Service.

Nothing live Dove, I just watched Broadchurch that had been recorded.  It was either that or buy more plants on t'internet.

  • Oooh, dangerous Yvie - glad I stayed in bed a bit longer - I've still got to find homes for the ones I've got image

from what I saw of broad church  Yviestevie I would have brought plants image

I looked up your da roses and they are beautiful and can't believ how hard you have worked in the garden already this year, it looks brilliant image

Since I have moved I sleep very little as can't stop thinking about what I will do next! Yesterday I thought it would be a good idea to start painting the living room, looked like one end of the ceiling was really dirty, now think it was smoke! As I washed off it got worse so had to paint! Pretty achey now!

Love your new woofie clari, how gorgeous is he! Well worth the wait image

Hosta I def would go private even if just for the first consultation to get the ball proper rolling x

Morning all! So I ended up going to work for 5 hours yesterday. Not bad for a day off! Special treat to open up the museum for some Police Cadets who had been let down for a special event and had no where to go. All I will say is even though they were only 12 years younger than me... where has my flexibility gone? You can get 12 cadets in a space designed for two people if you bend enough! They were certainly determined.

Seem to have woken up with... a cold. I'm only just over the flu. Grr!!

Reggie has learnt to dig. He's very proud of himself. Good job I have spare onions to replace any damage! This weekend will involve getting some netting up to protect a few of the beds.

Hope you have a good day!
