We have visited the dog again today and have spent some time with her. She is quite sweet but very nervous so have agreed to have her. Her coat isn't very good, but with love and care and a good diet and lots of things to do I think she will be fine
We will collect her on Tuesday, the photo makes her smaller than she really is - nothing like I had planned to have but that's the way things go!
W'song - what makes you think I'm not miserable....
Sounds like the driving is going well. What a difference it'll make to your life when you can get out and do stuff whenever you want. I'd hate to be without a car.
If anyone's not seen it - on Sky Arts just now is the Garden Treasures programme about Stourhead. Been on lots of times but always nice to see. The added bonus is that they use the Mozart clarinet concerto quite a bit too
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Love that Mozart piece - used to be able to play it (minus the twiddly bits).
Glad to hear the driving is coming along Winter.
And for Panda .....keep positive, there's one out there with your name on it. And every interview makes you that bit better for the next one.
lovely day here (soz Fairy). That means I'd better get outside and get some watering done. Monty might only water his pots once a week, but don't think that will work with my chimney pots.....or the numerous 9cm jobbies that are still in my GH. On a mission to get them in the ground sometime very soon
Winter it's a good idea to have driving lessons frequently as you will soon feel very comfortable with the controls. Wait for the first time you realise you changed gear without consciously thinking about it. By the way I'm miserable too.
Verdun did I read 'According to David Austin scent will come. Not a rose expert by any means'
It was my Dad's favourite piece of music chicky and we used it at his funeral. As children we were taken to see Jack Brymer playing it in the City Halls in Glasgow. His recording is a very important part of my collection
I've recorded Beechgrove so might catch it just now with a cuppa. Mr B is back on it - BLizzie will want to watch it I think....

Bad luck Panda

Poor fairy, 9 degrees is harsh, obviously they don't make us southerns of the same stuff, I'd be flipping miserable
Did manage some gardening today, spot weeding some bindweed and watering mainly
Been practising my manoeuvres in the car, booking lessons tomorrow, at a rate of 4 or 5 a week.

Off to watch Beechgrove.

Evening all.
What a day. Started work at 7am. Finished at 5.20, half hour break all day , came home , got changed and have just finished watering the tunnels.
Flippin' knackered!
Hope everyone has had a better day than I.
