  • Yvie and Mattie, I have been going to both shows for quite a few years now. The Spring show sets me up for the summer garden display. The Autumn show is good for the autumn colour and spring bulbs, corms etc. The former is more of a traditional RHS show, but I like both. Malvern Spring show is my favourite of all the RHS shows. Each year however it seems that the gardening element of the Autumn show shrinks. I found what I wanted this year, but the number of sellers seemed down a bit. I think more and more people are shopping on line, and perhaps some of the growers are deciding to rely on that?

I agree Woody, I shop quite a bit online but there's nothing like actually seeing the plants in the flesh so to speak.

Yes, Beaus Mum, I've got a robin nest box waiting for a nail on the back of the shed.  Just need to make it cat-proof...  image  Not surprised you're tired!  Bet it all looks spick and span now  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Morning all! Dove - the plum tree will eventually (its on the to do list!) be inside the chicken run so I'll dig the grass around it and get some feed in there to start building it up - or it hibernating now and I'm best not disturbing it?

Hope you all have a great day! On my second cold in a month - not great when I have to talk all day. Anyone have any immune boosting tips? The public seem to love to wipe their germs all over the museum judging by the finger prints!

Clari, sorry you have cold, its all them snotty nosed little kids that visit, you remember that water canon (spelling?)we talked about, well fill one with anti bac gel..... job done!image

Hmm... that might work Bekkie! We emptied 400 gallons of water with the brownies the other week I'm sure setting it on sprinkler system above the door might be a start. Just bleaching the museum top to bottom with sheep dip style turntables to keep sticky fingers to a minimum would be a start.

Sleep is all I'm doing when I get home at the moment! Will definitely have to get something - I've been spoilt with years in a small office!
