Plenty for shopaholics at Harrogate too, Matty, I'm afraid... and not very many show gardens. Good if you're looking for specialist growers, horticultural societies, huge veg, strange cut flower arrangements etc etc...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Did the weekly shop, took OH's car to garage (brakes), moved 2 trailer loads of logs to sitting room and stacked them under the stairs for woodburner. Lots more to do though. Filled up horses' water butts. Did lots of deadheading yesterday, must do more as man is coming to look at the garden on Friday to see about opening it next year, new NGS type thing in France.
Going out to lunch with friends tomorrow.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Ive heard from quite a few people that the best show is the Spring show at Malvern. I was disappointed with Hampton Court, although the Gardeners World show at the NEC was OK. Funnily enough quite a few people have said they were dissapointed with Chelsea. I'll definitely try Malvern next year.
goodness me Matty, my OH dosent know where we keep the hoover, let alone what unhairing it would mean!
the heavens opened when i was walking the dog, its absolutely chuckin down, thunder, lightening- the works, got drenched, had to have a shower to warm up! nice and toasty now
sounds like a tough day Yvie! bet they love staying with you
RB, hope things are ok, sounds like you are mega organised, making the rest of us look bad!
Hi Bekkie, they don't stay with me, I stay with them as eldest grandaughter goes to school. It is a bit odd doing the school run and waiting at the gates, especially when she comes out looking just like her mum (like she's been pulled through a hedge backwards).
No rain in Worcester, wonder if we had any at home. Sitting with firstborn and hubby and drinking a large class of Marlborough Estate, I'm watching an old episode of Who do you think you are, it's Ian Hislop, thought I'd seen them all but this one must have slipped through.
Youngest grandaughter just come out the bath and wants nanny, be back later.
probably this stupid tablet Yvie! its got a mind of its own, doin my ed in to be honest, cant ugrade my phone til december, so im very sorry if my posts are allover the place!

sounds lovely Yvie, your daughter is lucky you can stay
I love spring show Yvie - just felt autumn one was more a shopping experience type thing - nursery stands are always worth it though.
