Morning all. Lovely pix Liri - Garden Gallery is the place as others have said, and it lets  people see them who don't come on this thread very often. Lovely view of that church  image

Yvie - if you can get some outdoor clear sealant, you can use it on the crack on your pot. It'll keep it going for quite a while. Use a plastic pot inside for the plants rather than plant directly into it. You could even try some of the instant grab adhesives available now, although I don't know if there's an outdoor one, or some instant mortar on the inside image

Exciting day fro you OL - hope it goes really well for you both image

Dry again here but cloudy. Still waiting for some rain...anyone got any ? image

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning all image

Quick check in from the salt mine image Went to bed at 10 and slept really heavily, so much so that I couldn't get up this morning image Have a nasty headache to boot.  Still, tablets have been taken so hopefully it won't take too long for it to be kicked into touch.

Yvie, hope the GD is better soon, doesn't sound like she will have a fun couple of days.

OL, good luck to you and Mr OL on your new venture image

Right, best get back to it image  Have a lovely day all image

  • Drink a couple of pints of water Panda - most headaches are due to dehydration - OH says so! image

Morning all. Sun is shining, but not so warm. Good gardening day, but I feel knackered after the weekend events. Charity BBQ Saturday, Bring and share lunch here after Sunday church to finish up the BBQ food.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hi folks,  Thanks for all the good wishes, little one had a rough night, which meant the rest of us did too.  Ive dosed her up with Calpol/Nurofen and she has finally drunk some milk.  Shes even spottier this morning, bless.   Have to keep her away from other littlies so collecting her sister from school should be interesting. I feel like I should carry a bell and shout unclean.

Garden is quite beautiful Liri you must have worked so hard.

Hope everyone has a good day and that the sun is shining for you.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands
  • Poor thing Yvie, do more spots mean its running its course and will be done soon? image

Your garden is very lovely liri, you should be very proud, i understand how you got so many muscles now!image

You do so much BL! Just your posts make me tired! image

Afternoon all! Got the day off so have snuck on here while I recover from mowing the lawn - I decided OH must have given it up being his chore judging by its length! Still at least I didn't run the lavenders down too much this time even with the emergency stops for pheasants and frogs.

I've got to go and top up my supply of chopped chilli in a bit - I'll wear gloves this time! Found out my beloved rather than picking from the 1kg of fresh chillies on the worktop has been reaching for the jars of pre cut stuff in white wine vinegar. Didn't cotton on you're only meant to use that when all the fresh stuff had gone apparently image does he think I'll chop all the fresh ones up for fun?! Maybe the chilli willy ones in front of him at his current rate of common sense thinking.

Keep safe everyone - hoping I'll be on here a little more often soon!

Oh Clari.  You've made me think again.  I had been considering a little pond and I reckon I could do emergency stops for pheasants but my eyesight might lead to a downturn in frog numbersimage

As to OH - well you have prepared the chillis for him to save him chopping.  What a lovely person you are.  Bet he appreciates youimageimage

I get out of breath just saying Busy-Lizzie bekkieimage

Glad GD has managed some milk now Yvie.  You just feel so miserable for them don't you?
