  • Oh Panda, so sorry to hear you feel a bit low. Always in your pocket.

Have a good evening with your friends, I'm sure once you've spent an evening with them, you'll feel a lot better. Hugs and lots of love x

Evening all. A plea to parents - whatever sugar loaded goodies you're putting in your dear little angels lunchbox... stop it! I had a school of 60 in today. They were wonderful all morning but come afternoon good lord were they intent on destroying everything they could. image

Still I have a day off tomorrow... going into work regardless to see what I can tweak on the tour to keep their interests.

On a gardening front - is it okay to put coffee grinds in my wormery? I don't want my worms too hyped up but I'm sure I remember reading it made good compost.

  • Thanks BL, ever hopeful

So sorry to hear about your friends husband, was one of them the one you visited en-route to me, he sounded quite poorly, so sad?

Had a good go at the garden today and although only the 1st dig of many looks a bit better an at least now I can see where I'm heading (the GC). image

Panda imageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimageimage just for you xx

clari, dont work too hard on that day off!

Love to mums and poorly people.

Back to the old tin bath - mine is supposed to be full of marigolds but putting on a poor show, still cheerful but not quite as planned.

Feel like I've been rushed off my feet all day, but in fact haven't been very busy at all.

OH working late so looking forward to my cheese on toast regular when he's not here image then perhaps straight to bed image

Bekkie - considering the amount of fire engines we have you'd have thought I could manage something myself!

OH is working late here too. Cheese on toast seems a good idea Mrs G - I'm not sure how much longer I can hold out on cooking dinner.

Clari, its my treat , not cooking and in bed by the time he gets home. Cheese on toast is the way to go....apparently with a drip of Hendersons smothered on top ( but only for the true sheffielders amongst usimage )
  • Panda ;((hugs)) life gets you a bit like that sometimes doesn't it image

BL sorry you've had more sad news.

I've been in the garden supervising OH tidying the pond - pruning/thinning  some of thr oxygenating plants etc

And we met a new toad - that's two we've seen in this garden now, both quite different colours image

  • Hello all

Had a busy day clearing as many weeds from station garden (weed-a-thon) and cutting grass down in top area of garden with long armed sheers they are a muscle building tool, the compost bin is now overflowing

So much of the garden cleared and lots of space for the new plants we brought to be planted. Some bits cut done and put into the garden waste bin - the garden looks so different now to what it did at the begin of the day

    Fairygirl like your pics

DD you go for it tackle the garden tame it make it yours

    Quote from Woody

Here is progress to date. Had to dig out a thick mat of viburnum roots, but glad I did. Best for the long term. Added MPC with JI to beef up the soil and tried to position the stumps to make it seem they are still growing out of the ground. Now for the grasses.

Well done Woody it looks great
