Thanks RB, probably a waste of his time though, we have, at last got some antibiotics that suit her, not sure if she's any better but breathing better.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
As we are talking about BT engineers, BM wanted me to tell you all she hasnt got the internet sorted yet, the internet engineer came today, but said the fault was with the BT line, so she will now have to wait for a BT engineer to visit! Her words were ...grrrrrrr!
Lyn, hope you get your mum sorted
The wind is really cold, but im happy because George decided he wanted to walk almost down to the shops (before i made him turn round), thats the furthest hes walked in a while, poor thing is shattered now, hes having a power nap on the rug
Been out pruning the coloured stems on the Cornuses. Seems a sham when they were looking so pretty, but I have a lot to do, as I got very behind in the Autumn.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
well, well, well. a month in europe and five weeks in hawaii have disposed of disposable income and the irs is convinced I owe them 7128.00, so, a quiet life of thrift and virtue is indicated- after a few days in san francisco with the friends who housesat, before they fly back to texas. scanning back posts sounds like a winter of discontent is about to become glorious spring-and none to soon. winter here was very mild and dry-we flew home into the first precip. in two months so garden is green and happy with hundreds of tiny things blooming-yay. have a pile of catalogs and nursery emails to take to S.F., so will just order one or two things before period of budgetary restraint begins. that columnar cherry someone was talking about sounds eminently desirable. well off to ca. to spend the cash before the tax man gets it.
Snow's almost completely gone here, but the garden is distinctly soggy, so even though we reached 7C this afternoon I've only had a mooch around. Plenty of other stuff to do though, including my U3A French class and a visit to my mum (who's still muddled but happy).
Out again soon to sing with a small group of friends.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Afternoon everyone. Back from Nanna Duty. Little one much better and her sister shows no sign, so far, of catching the bug.
Weather seems to be warming up a little judging by the comments above, its been a bit warmer here today.
Broke my glasses today, so having to walk around in prescription sunglasses until I can get them fixed. Feel a right plonker, here's hoping the sun shines over the next few days.

beautiful, sunny, warmish day here in Kent and I got two plants in the ground

Very happy about that as I have soooo many to get through , an early start is great.
Also played with my plants a bit, especially the evergreens or those with leaf, shifting them around in the borders and decided on a lot that way.
There's nothing like placing them in their pots for real even though OH bought me that expensive tablet so I could design without lifting a finger
Victoria Sponge if you look in I have sent you a PM about hellebore photos
