    Morning Allimage

Rain here, but forecast to clear by midday.  Which should give me plenty of time to plant up my summer potsimage. Seems a bit incongruous, given i am still in jumpers, jeans and boots, but it is rumoured that summer could arrive anyday now.   Which reminds me ....must paint my toenailsimageimageimageimage

Morning all - been awake ages but catching up on stuff I'd recorded and transferring photos etc. I  won't post any of the snowy ones Lesley...but this was the view I had while eating my lunch yesterday....

Weather's pretty damp and cold here today - hope it brightens a bit later as I really need to get something done outside image Think you're getting summer sometime this week chicky image

Two flowers opened on my clematis Miss Bateman - very pretty. It was a small plant a year ago, potted on and planted in late summer.

BL - glad you had a successful day - could have done with some leftover cake last night image

    Morning all.

KEF, DD's Open Garden is 29th June.

Rain forecast for tonight, then heatwave up to 35°. We will be away then, so I hope housesitter waters the pots properly.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Morning all!  image

Just watched Beechgrove Garden, from Gardening Scotland.  Now I'd better get a move on...  Rain here too, but a friend is giving me her spare courgette plants later this morning, and I'll need to plant them before we go on our hols tomorrow, rain or no rain.  (Had I mentioned we were going on holiday??  imageimageimage)

Shame your car boot sale was called off, Wonky.  Over the years I've bought some excellent tools (gardening and otherewise) from boot sales.  An old curved lino knife, for instance, is absolutely invaluable, for doing all sorts of jobs like opening compost sacks, weeding between stones & cutting string.  image

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Have a wonderful Finnish holiday Liri - sounds like quite the experienceimage.  Need pics of the cabin and the lake when you returnimage

Stunning lunchtime views Fairy - you can sense the peace just from the photo.

French heatwave sounds a bit alarming for someone about to go away - thank heavens for a housesitterimage.  Popped round to our neighbours yesterday to beg assistance when we go away - otherwise I spend more time on holiday checking the forecast for home than I do my new surroundingsimage.  Is there a word for obsession with weather forecasts?  If so, I think I've got itimageimage

I have that obsession too chicky image

I'm so obsessed I looked it up - OCWCD - Obsessive Compulsive Weather Checking Disorder image

Have a lovely holiday Liri - pix are an absolute must. Bet the landscape will be stunning  image
