KEF You're going to Meadowhell now?? But its not March yet! It can't be safe! Hope you've remembered your Kendel mintcake, a good head torch, and some water
DOVE you'll be pleased to hear that it is (almost) impossible to fall off a unicycle so no knee pads required (they just get in the way). With no handle bars to get tangled up on you just "step off" when you feel your balance fail you. Easy!!
I got a unicycle for my 16th birthday (yeah my parents did nothing to help me fit in with societies demands, I can't think why I was bullied so) and I learnt to ride it at my neighbours house while they were on holiday and I was looking after their chickens (chickens were not amused). They had a perfect flight path down the side of the house so me to practice on!

I'm as graceful as a Morris Dancer I can assure you if there was a way I'd have found it!
Thanks for all concerns and advice I've survived Meadowhall, but now having a lager Not as hectic as I expected but quite a few there. Got the pressies I wanted, so phew now chill time & Christmas can start.
I've made my Christmas menu, that sounds posh, I mean I've written down what we are having, ticked off what I've got in freezer / store cupboard and what is needed. List made of what I need to take to Mum's such as steamer, tablecloth, plates ( I'm not joking, she won't let me put hers in the oven to hot them up! Might make them crazy) Xmas crackers, cheese dome..my veg peeler, my fav' preping knife I could go on Oops...better check on napkins...BFN
I've got a wheelbarrow for the FYM. We have gates at the top of the garden and a hard standing where the FYM will be tipped. I'm just going to sheet it over with a tarpaulin until I need it.
Today I have decked the fireplace with boughs of (variegated) holly.
I've got to fetch OH back from Birmingham airport later. I was going to go shopping today but resorted to bread and satsumas from the local shop. I don't think I can face Planet Tesco yet.
