I think I'm peeking way too early. I don't normally visit the GC at this time of year
And I have never begun jobs or done any planting before March before but well, then I always end up with not enough hours in the day so...I'm trying to stay ahead of the rush
Got a pergola and trellis to erect in the spring and one whole area of garden to landscape...gonna be sooo by summer
Had to go to hospital yesterday as not healing properly, back again on Friday, just hope I don't get an infection. OH is back to not letting me do anything so persuaded him to sow 2 rows of BroadBeans - much muttering about how I will need to cut down on such things and then he was surpised at how quick and easy it was
I have sowed some seeds in one of my new propagators as well - just want to see how they work, OH insisted on picking up compost bag(20l) and tipping some into a tray so I could do the necessary.
Could make me stir crazy all this taking care, !!!!!
Now trying to persuade him that a GC visit next week will be quite OK
Hi everyone, just back from the first session of a 12 week pain management course. The jury's out at the moment. Did enjoy the relaxation at the end though. Nearly nodded off.
Hope Mr & Mrs Edd can overcome their current difficulties. It must be terrible to have to come to terms with such a devastating loss.
Matty, an occasional trip to GC is essential when recovering from an illness. Staying indoors will only result in getting more tired and depressed. You definitely need a jolly to lift the spirits.
Came home to a lovely present from the delivery man. My Lilac Madame Lemoine and Hydrangea limelight have arrived. Both in excellent condition. Hoping to get time to plant them tomorrow. Lots of lovely buds on the Lilac so should get some nice flowers. Hope so, as I pushed the boat out and bought a decent sized on.
My world is still very dark at the moment as I'm still having to wear prescription sunglasses. Hopefully Hubby will be able to mend them when he returns this evening other it will be an expensive trip to the optician to buy another pair.
Catch up with you all later, I'm of for a quick browse.

Matty2, surely a visit to the GC is medicinal
. You could try that approach.
