Hi Folks, Hope your feeling better Bekkie. Think about how good you will feel once the soreness has passed. Did a bit of gardening today, not much really just tidying. Had quite a few sharp showers and looking at the weather forecast its not going to get much better just colder.
Hello folks my word you've all been chattering away today I'm kn*ckered after my hectic weekend
Good job there's lots of food in the house already to eat - I just popped stuff in the oven to heat up - all I had to cook was the first picking of the runner beans - a bit late 'cos the first sowing didn't germinate. These are Emergo - Verdun's recommendation and I'm very happy with them - lovely beans and setting fantastically well
OH is washing up and I think I'll be slumping sideways on the sofa in a minute and snoozing
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Yvie, your gap made me laugh out loud - again! What on earth are you doing?
FG, can you sprinkle some fairy dust on my weeds and make them all go away - please.
Whilst OH is away, I am living off leftovers and cake, can't beat it! Going to be v. good and make his favourite quiche on Weds and more plum cake, need to win him over after fracas about tv. - lawn needs doing and I want a rotavator - or a man to chop weeds down!
Off to watch whatever is on BBC 1 now, way too much effort to change the channel!

I have no idea how it's happening, I think this is the third time now. The only thing I can think of is that I had to leave the post half finished and go off to do something in the kitchen. If it happens again I'll see if its under the same circumstances.
I've got a man coming on Wednesday. Behave youselves, I'm thinking of having a few more feet off the dreaded leylandii and also need them trimming back. Thought of buying one of those extendable hedge trimmers but I'm not sure I'd manage with the old back and hubby's not much better. Anyway, they are definitely too tall at the moment even for the extendable ones. Hope it's not too expensive.
