Been shopping and bought some underwear, an ironing board cover, pizzas for tea and a new laundry basket for mum, fed up of seeing the baby bath held together with tape that was my sisters who was born in 1969 No I didn't get undies and pizza from the same shop
Visit to the vet achieved successfully (apart from the parting of €80). Cat cried literally like a baby all the way which did not help with the idea of dog not noticing he was in the car. I played referee on the back seat whilst OH drove.
Just been out & walked the dog an saw/heard a flock? of cranes flying over, super sight and amazing sound, noisy devils, so huge too, camera doesn't do them justice but got a closer look than last time.

Hello again,
Visit to the vet achieved successfully (apart from the parting of €80). Cat cried literally like a baby all the way which did not help with the idea of dog not noticing he was in the car. I played referee on the back seat whilst OH drove.

Oh how lovely!
I saw two Vs of bird flying over my patch a couple of months back, guessing they were geese
and yes, they were hollering the whole way
Afternoon all, thoroughly wet and horrible here all day.
Stream is now a raging torrent, I do not want it to flood again.

Ooh Pdoc, horrible for you, is the stream near to the house?
Dd - wonderful pics
KEF - glad you've had a productive day
Pdoc - sorry to hear it's so wet where you are
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Afraid so DD, runs through the garden, then passes about 20 foot from the house.
Shouldn't tempt fate, but although the garden often floods, the house never has, although it got very close last winter.
