Happy New Year BKimage.  Shame about your worms though.

KEF all our decorations are away now too but not much has been thrown out yet.  I imagine that the question was 'you don't want that anymore do you?'imageimage

  • Evening everyone, fire is lit and I'm sat having an few before the evening 3 mile dog walk (yes seriously - I've already bailed out of a spinning class!!

Did someone mention afternoon nap, now that's someone I do miss being self employed and can't have a sneaky snooze.....sometimes I'm tempted to have a rest on top of the freezers LOL!!  Still wouldn't swap my job now though.

Wintersong, your pooch is sooooo cute, I forgot to say yesterday image Landscaping your veg patch, you should start your own thread so we can arch your progress, I'm afraid I haven't enough time or imagination for that.

Didn't manage to get my afternoon nap in. But am now full of roast dinner and waiting impatiently for permission to go to bed.

Still no sign of my garlic wanting to wake up and show a few little shoots just to give me courage. I'm hoping they've not all been crushed by a certain persons big feet and decided its best to hide away. image

Watching the 70 stone man. It scares me to think that it is humanly possible to consume 20,000 calories a day without something in your brain stopping you. Brains are very complicated!

BitterKnitter, my GC sells alpine grit in small bags - but it's not part of a chain, so unless you live within reach of Rochdale or Todmorden that may not be useful info.  I know aquarium suppliers sell grit in smallish bags too, though you might need to check it's an appropriate type.

Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
