I know perfect spot in MY garden Verdun image

  • Sympathy to Bekki and BM - I too am suffering from nettle stings and being stabbed in the head by a very sharp rose thorn, so feel your pain. I find a little drinky poos helps. image

Nettle potion has been set on its way - million miles from house, Thank Q.

Managed to lose my secateurs, looked everywhere, just disappeared so had to nip out and get new ones - bright red this time - and longer gloves!

Picture below of lovely rose I have rescued today, bless, you have to look closely.

Also, was feeling very proud of my sunflowers...

Have managed to find BBC1 though. image

Enjoy your evening peeps - got to water the baskets and containers now - and if I find those secateurs I will be really mad!

Some weather forecast I read said it'd be getting hot again by next week...  image  Not sure I believe it, but optimism is best, I reckon!  image

Lesley -it's my fault, the chattering. That's what happens when I have time off work- I start to wander a bit and thoughts turn to all sorts of misadventure....imageimage

Buddleia now hacked and branches disposed of in various ways - honeysuckle likewise.  Oldest fairy got her pickaxe into the roots so it's pretty much gone to the big compost bin in the sky...well the local tip anyway. Plenty more little buds on the lower bits of buddleia to keep the bees and butterflies happy for a while yet, then it'll be going the same way unless I feel like attempting to plant it somewhere else. Unlikely though.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
