Good morning all We've had steady rain for a couple of hours now - the water butts are gurgling and the lawns are soaking it up
Not sure what niece will want to do today - we could go into the city on the bus - but she's not really a shopping sort of a girl - I had thought about going blackberrying, but it's going to be too wet - she might want to just mooch around here - we've got a busy schedule tomorrow so a day 'chilling' might be in order It'll be just the two of us as OH is back to work today.
Lily - Enjoy every moment of today and relish the journey home - you'll never have to do it again

Thank you everyone, and thankyou for the lillies Kef. I'm a bit of a giddy kipper today, work should be ok today as grotbag is on hols (i worked out my notice well)

Hope you all have a great day take care, see you later peeps xx
quick hello to you all, lily have a great last day, fidget you're not far from us today, grey here, just a quiet day at home and maybe a little walk through gardens, have a good day everyone
Morning everyone, lovely sunny day here in the Dordogne, met a lady yesterday that said it was the worst summer she had known in 10 years - will do for me - best summer in 10 years I have seen!
BL - garden club is based in St Yrieix La Perche, they meet there once a month but over the summer they go to different members gardens instead. The one today is between Payzac and Pompadour, apparently gorgeous. I love the idea of outdoor theatre but the tour you went to is just a bit far for us. Next year will plan around it and make sure we get there.
Off to fight with Google + piccies now - lots of weeds looking for identification!
