There was a philosopher in the Middle Ages called Buridan,  after who the concept of Buridans Ass was developed. It was a donkey equally hungry and thirsty, who was placed half way between a bale of hay and a bucket of water. It died of hunger and thirst.

It is supposed to show, that sometimes when we are spoilt for choice, we find it impossible to make any decision

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team

    Fairy hugs for smallest fairy.

Huge pan of pasta sauce simmering with own frozen cherry toms & courgette thrown in for meal tonight & freezer.

Not a big poultry fan so leg of pork ordered from farm shop for Xmas, some meat I do buy from SM's especially legs of lamb when on offer because when I've slowly cooked it in olive oil, oregano, garlic, lemon and white wine I challenge anyone to say it doesn't taste like Greek free range lamb. image Only give away is their lambs have smaller legs . image to veggies reading this.

I bet my first picking of sprouting broccoli that in the morning we see a post from someone who states that they will no longer post on the forum  but asks people to send them PM's if they want expert advice as we are all amateurs. image

OH has been very good today.

A trip to the garden centre resulted in a couple of bags of bulbs, now reduced by 70%(Wyevale) and lunch in the cafe.

Then we went to the supermarket, and he didn't complain once. (OH can't stand supermarkets)

I however made a very loud comment about three men with trolleys standing in the exit from the revolving doors, just chatting."You're standing in the way, boys" As  I barged the trolley through, one was heard to mutter "sorry".

After I gave the death stare to a man with a clipboard and stopwatch watching the checkouts, they opened up another one for me. Is it just me, but  wouldn't it be better to use all available staff to man the checkouts, instead of watching them?

Tomorrow I feel a trip to the jewellers coming on.imageimage
