Dove, that's exactly how I feel some nights, I lie in bed and plan what I am going to do the next day and how I'm going organise new beds.  How boring am Iimage

Got really excited this morning when the door went as I thought it was a plant delivery, but it was the scooter we ordered for grandaughters birthday. Have had about 4 emails saying deliveries will be in the next 4 days so I will be housebound waiting for them to arrive, I will just have to make myself content in the gardenimage

It will be odd for us going to cornwall in May, we normally go in the middle of winter and have no trouble parking.  Mind you we wont be driving as we will be going down in in secondborn's car.

Have been busy in the garden this morning, have planted both Clematis and attacked the Jap Anem again (I will win this battle if it kills me).  Had to go to garden centre to get some Compost and 3 foxgloves fell in my trolley.  I had grown some but the slugs attacked and I've lost some of them so these will replace them.

I will post photos of the upside down toilet as soon as it's planted up.

Off for a cuppa and then back to work.

    Thank you bekkie and Kef.

Just been for a walk, well a stroll really, but its a lovely day out there.

Will have a bit of lunch and then get out in the garden. Might move a few bits about and trim a couple of shrubs and the hedge.

Birds are singing away, think I should fill the feeders up.

Did we find out if artjacks ok.......do you hear from her Dove?

There are a few missing tho....perhaps some are having an early hols.

    Enjoy the sunshine everyone, SYL

Re Artjak - we exchange emails occasionally, Nut lives quite close to her.  She's been busy lately http://www.gardenersworld.com/forum/talkback/come-in-artjakyour-time-is-up/649895.html image

    Afternoon,

back from the pet store and GC. Had to buy some more bird food which was incredibly heavy to carry round with me, but they are surprisingly hungrier now than winter image

Took a turn around the GC just to check if they had anything I could  use and I think they are using a new label on their plants these days, the incredibly sticky kind of label because 3 wallflower Bowle's Mauve stuck to my trousers without me knowing, as did two Clematis, one on each arm apparently, whilst a Coprosma got stuck to my back and when I got home, OH told me about the Yucca I was using as a hatimage

oh well, I'm not walking them all the way back so I guess I've have to dig a few holes in my gardenimage

Can't believe just been to SM and nothing gardeny fell into the trolley - mind you feeling bit fed up with stuff at present.

Afternoon all,  Hope you're OK Matty,  have a cuppa and something really naughty, then sit in the sun a bit.  I bet you feel better.  You're probably trying to do too much and if it's stuff that hasn't got done this year that's bothering you, don't worry, it will all get done eventually and if it doesn't it's not the end of the world.

My garden centre uses the same labelling system as yours Wintersong.  Things are always sticking to me when I pay them a visit.

Did a bit more in the garden and then decided that enough was enough, picked out a few gardening books and headed for the sunlounger.  Georgous day.  First time this year I've actually sat in the garden and relaxed.

A few more jobs lined up for tomorrow, some of the grass is growing through where I moved the turf from so will have to dig it out.  Also need to replenish the top couple of inches of soil in a few pots that have shrubs in them, and give them a bit of a feed. If new plants arrive tomorrow then they will keep me out of mischief.

Off for a mooch around before having a shower and visiting mum.

Have just mowed the lawn (phew) and whilst watering the pots image saw signs of life from the Hosta I bought last year (from the nearly dead section) image and shoots coming up in my Molly the Witch pot image image

    Afternoon all.

Beautiful day here, just like the Riviera.

New growth is appearing daily and the gaps are starting to fill in.

Managed to make a bit of space in the greenhouse, so I might be able to move some stuff off the window sills.

My BIL has decided to take up gardening in his new house. We are going up to see him in St. Andrews soon and he has asked whether I could bring him a selection of plants to get him started. No problem at all, but my Whisky collection is looking a bit denuded at the moment.

KEF your bottle of wine is chilling in the fridge and I am looking forward to drinking it in the summerhouse later. Suppose I should wait for OH to get home.
