DD I have a cream and black Rangemaster but the smaller size, main gas oven, and smaller electric fan oven with five gas rings & gas grill, love the griddle you can place on the top. I've had it about 7 yrs no prob's at all and well worth the money, I love it as much as you can love a cooker
Been dull misty and damp all day and now it's getting dark. Done my housework so I'm hoping for some dry and bright weather tomorrow so I can get outside, but forecast isn't promising.
Pop up for pie Verdun, only about 45 minutes drive. Mum did enjoy them, I also made some yorkshires, cats eaten one!
I have planted out some more perennial sweet peas, still some left. All the tulips are now in, wow, amazing what I can do when I get my skates on. Time to get dinner ready.
Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.
Lyn are you a past winner of bake off? Perfect pies and bet your mum was thrilled
Edd you do make me snigger I read your post about Christmas tree purchase at lunch and OH nearly got soup all over him!
KEF and DD I am very un pc and have a stove, I inherited it tho and use it for sick animals, drying wood, Laundry and when none of that's happening I cook in it

Hello folks I'm back from a lovely afternoon out in the company of Topbird and Cleve West (and a village hall full of gardeners). He's a really entertaining and informative speaker and the photos were brilliant. It was particularly interesting for me with my art school background as CW also studied at art school before somehow sort of sliding sideways into garden design.
Lyn, I've been planning to make mince pies all week ... but I thought if I left it long enough someone else would make some am I in time to have one with a cuppa?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Back from neighbour's deer farm, they were lovely, seems he has spent all summer building 2 metre high fencing, poor man. Early days yet for them but they hope to be selling venison next spring.
I have invited them for dinner - another excuse to justify the new cooker, glad to hear good reports Kef, keep telling OH we should only 'buy once' ie. get a good one 1st time around. Think I might need to get some advice from Verdun on haggling.
Talented bunch on here today, bakers, skaters and a comedien, all that and gardening too.
