Is that Dordogne Damsel, or another DD?

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

I think it's Darling/Dear Daughter Lizzie - I remember some confusion over Dove's knitting project image

I seem to be over thinking my planting at the moment, 2 hours and nothing planted. Trying to think what colour and texture neighbours will be.

    More tiring than actual gardening.

How about, Acteae simplex Brunette with Hosta Canadian blue and Aconitum Arendissi?

How can you lie there and think of England

    Hello

Confession time - was low because - well- have had to phone hospital image in the end, waiting for a return call

We were going to big GC (that one Lizzie) but after lunch will now go to a smaller one (more expensive as well) but need quite alot of stuff and cheering up and I do have a voucher for 50% off a plantimage

Have spent morning feeding containers - what a waste of time so one of things I need are slow release fertiliser.

One water butt now empty and its a big one (300l) as well, 2 more to go!

Think Pandas right Lizzie. It was me who thought Dove was knitting a jumper or something for DDamsel image

It was lucky that you realised your zinnias were missing Lizzieimage.

Hope you find something nice at the GC Matty.

I've just come in for a rest as I'm in the process of emptying and moving my compost bin.  There's some lovely stuff at the bottomimage.  Hard work though.

    Hope you're OK Matty. Hugs.

Have been really busy in the garden today.  It's been beautiful and sunny again.  Had loads of starter plants delivered so potted them on.  Beautiful ones from Woolmans, great quality.  Good ones also from Plant Me Now.

For the first time I ordered some of those teeny tiny ones.  I think it was a mag offer Two easy fill hanging baskets and 42 trailing geraniums.  Unless a miracle occurs I doubt if I'll get a dozen plants, the roots are paltry and they were really difficult to get out of the plugs.  Never mind I may be suprised.  I bet only the bright red ones take (I hate red geraniums).

Had to re jig the greenhouse to get them all in.  Lord knows where I'll put the plants that are in seed trays when they need potting on.  Note to self - do not sow any more seeds.

Also had a delivery of hardy geraniums and liriope from Plants for Shade, have put those in too.

Gave all the plants a spring feed this morning.  Really excited at how quickly things are growing now.  Hope we don't have any really bad weather. A cold snap could do quite a bit of damage.

I thought it was a long way for DDamsel  to come and get her hair done.

Back from GC and docs -Seems wound is breaking down again. End of conversation there

At GC 2 lovely clematis, was nearly 3 but wanted a yellow one for a place in garden and there was this lovely pink and white so didn't buy eitherimage

Anyway did find a Crystal Fountain which I love and a deep red one who's name escapes me but I have seen it mentioned on here(Mme Julia Correvan) both are short growers, also some carrot seedlings, can never get them to germinate and loads of compost - Tomerite gro bags and miracle gro compost

So many lovely plants though imageimage
