Morning all, foggy and damp again.

Do you think OH would like a new greenhouse, not sure she knows about the old one though?

  • Slept in this morning, stole your hour Chicky! Saw "Carmen" last night , Welsh National Opera, great tunes and soloists, especially the tenor.Carmen good too but pipped at the post for me.

Empty diary today ( that's tempting providence), but alpine G.S. tonight. May have a trip to Bournemouth.

    Have a goodly one all..

It has been decided that I am having an official birthday this year, when everyone is feeling 100%

A box of bulbs (late order) came yesterday, so I must try and get those in, but its tipping it down here.

    Edd, you're incorrigible.

Punkdoc, if you have another greenhouse, it will liberate the dining room for dining and not raising cannas. The added advantage is she will always know where to find you. You could always have a phone extension in it, like my mum.

Morning all. We woke really late this morning, but I still have a cold.

Thinking of Matty, hope it's good news.

Must get out and deal with tulips and violas. Weather forecast yesterday was so good for the next 3 days but this morning they have changed their minds. Grey today, nice tomorrow, drizzle on Saturday.

I hope Chicky has a lovely time in Berlin.

I think the same as Fidget, that Punkdoc's wife would love another GH if it means he keeps his gardening out of the dining room.

Glad you enjoyed "Carmen", Woody, one of my favourites.

Love the persuasive argument I could put to OH for buying a new greenhouse.

Don't be too shocked, but I dragged myself to the gym, must be at least the 2nd. time I have been in the last 6 months. Should seriously consider cancelling my membership, I could buy a lot of plants with the money I saved.

Chicky I hope you're all packed and ready to go.  Enjoy Berlinimage.

Steady mizzle here and the lights are on.  No chance of getting in the garden as son had dental hospital appointment.  Was brave enough to have a couple of fillings but the extraction will take a few more visits. It is progress thoughimage.

Hope you've done all your planting Lizzie and can get back in and look after your cold.

DD is that the last of your leaves now or are there many more to fall?image

Edd you make me laugh - but I'm glad you're not mineimageimage

Agree with fidget and Lizzie about the greenhouse pdocimage

Back home after some bits and bobs of shopping for Christmas image

Still damp and miserable here and that's the OH who decided to come along and pull faces at Christmas items and the music that was playing. Did pop into a cash & carry so he could look at a few man things but it didn't help as they had music playing.

Well done Pdoc the gym image I'd cancel membership rake the leaves and save towards a new GH image

Edd what can I say image other than you've made me laugh during the last couple of miserable weather days. Bet deep down and well hidden you are a real romantic image

Edd - brilliant bit of banter!  image

Certainly a lot funnier than another thread at the moment - I'm trying to restrain myself from posting and giving the 'oxygen of publicity'...image

Miserable, dreich day here yesterday - frost then fog and never got above 4 degrees all day. Today was a bit warmer - it reached the balmy heights of 7 when I came home. Hope it's warmer tomorrow so that I can get on with the last of the gravel  image

Have a great time chicky - or have you already gone...imageimage

Glad you're a bit better fidget - happy belated birthday...hope you can celebrate properly when you all feel tip top image

I'm off to look round and then get dinner on. Youngest isn't well either - all the more for me image
