I did water them last night Woody and all honesty just didn't have time this morning too, it is obviously warmer than I thought as usually they are ok again until evening, oh well, I'm sure they'll be fine with a soak.
How lovely yvie.Cute as a button on her new shoes!
Wish my day at the salt mines had been lovely, but alas no. finished and paid til 2.30 instead of 5.0. I know I should be happy for finishing early on a Friday but it's not the point. I'm really mad, spitting feathers but hey, I'll get over it...again. Such lack of organisation, care, purpose, fore planning, common sense, asking the right people....oh and I could go on...rant over.
At least I have time to go and scrub the decking for 'do' tomorrow (yes, that's it, the job step son promised to do but is too busy on computer). Hope it stays dry tomorrow despite forecast to be awful! Got people coming for a charity 'coffe and cake afternoon', looking forward to that and I WILL be chilled and calm by then! Best go as I can feel another rant on the way, which isn't really right as I'm not on here so much lately just know you guys can put up with me .
Archie guess your lovely grandaughter won't let you make Bombay potatoes from Teddy's friends
Yviestevie lovely photo, I remember one sibling getting her first shoes, she preferred to eat/ suck them and when she had to wear them she cried. Must remind her of that she only 45.
Woody good luck at the show, I know plenty of volunteers to scoff your tart T.
Good to hear from you Fairy hope all is well and less hectic for a while
Weeding done at M's, huge storm didn't appear so got stuff done. Any money it will chuck it down tomorrow as sibling is due to do some gardening up there
I think the tarte tatin may be better, but shan't really know until judge bursts into laughter or tears! On surface it looks OK, but I have had to modify the recipe quite a bit.
Off to village hall to put up tables etc for tomorrow. May have earned a pint after that. Pub is next door.
Oooh more lovely grandchildren! I hope the potatoes were clean Archie
Slept really badly last night it was 27° in the bedroom. Woke late, went shopping. Huge shop as daughter, her OH and 2 children are coming on Monday, then her friend with her two children are coming. Then we went to the Wok place for lunch. Had to write page for the Church mag this afternoon, took ages.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
