I got the latest GW magazine while I was at SM and have noticed that lily sounds even more exotic than I thought - she's going under the name of star gaze lilya. Obviously a former Russian princess
Thank goodness for the extra hour or I'd be wishing you a good afternoon
Was up late catching up on Saturday progs that were missed coz of quiz night.
Just had a lovely long chat with my brother, the new daddy Mother had a very quick labour for her first, less than 12 hours, and was only in hospital for 2 of those before the baby popped out!
Dull and overcast here. The kind of day you want to stay in.
Need to think about Daffs for this year - although did a lot of planting last year. Fancy some scented ones. . . .
Your SIL's a lucky girl - she'd better get to hospital early for the second one! A friend had her first quickly like that - the second one arrived in the foyer!!!
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Temperature has dropped a bit here but it's the wind that's cold. Haven't done the jobs in the garden that I was going to do, agree with Panda it's more like a day for staying inside. Had thought about another walk but not in the wind. Not even if I have some Rennies Lesley LOL.
Never mind scented daffs I'll settle for the smell of roast leg of pork
Done the ironing and some h****work - no chance of doing anything outside unless I wear waterproofs and tie myself down securely to something!
Will go out soon and get some new birdfeeders and try not to look at any bulbs. Panda - Cheerfulness is scented and so are Silver Chimes which I mentioned earlier. I think Thalia might be too. Most of the bulb places online will state which ones are scented though
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Hi all. Been weeding all day, it does not take you to be away for long for them to take over. Many days hard labour ahead, but it is quite therapeutic.
Steak for tea, so a nice bottle of red I think.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
